Our training programme

Find Out More

The training programme provided by IBioIC is a combination of compulsory and optional structured training, complemented by ongoing personal development initiatives.  Compulsory training consists of 8-10 days per year, with the full CTP brought together on two to three occasions per year. To complement the taught training programme, every IBioIC PhD student undertakes a 3-12 month placement in industry.

In order to ensure students have the diverse range of skills required for a successful career in IB, the training programme focuses on three key elements: essential project skills, essential industry skills and personal growth.
