Kirsty Robb

Senior Scientist

Kirsty joined the technical team at IBioIC as Senior Scientist in August 2019. As well as delivering on all practical aspects of client projects, she is also involved with the design and implementation of training courses specifically focused on developing the future IB work force.

 

Having graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and Immunology from the University of Strathclyde, Kirsty went on to complete her PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2016. She continued her research at Strathclyde as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, working on an industry driven project which sought to enhance the yield of clavulanic acid from Streptomyces species using RNA sequencing and genetic manipulation.
